For certain procedures, insurance companies set sub limits. 

For eg: If a policy has Sum insured as Rs 5 lakhs and the policy mentions that cataract suregry claim has a sublimit of Rs 50k

Even though a customer incurs an amount of Rs 1 lakh for treatment towards cataract surgery, insurance companies only pay 50k as that is the sublimit as explained in the policy.

Our Acko health insurance plan does not have any sub limits meaning you can claim upto Rs 1 crore.
